Elliot's Touch is astonished and humbled by a donation from a local golf club.

Minehead and West Somerset Golf club handed over £3815 to the charity having picked Elliot's Touch as their chosen charity.

"We feel extremely lucky that club's captain, Rob Arthington, chose Elliot's Touch as the charity for the year," said Paul Stevens, co-founder.

The donations were raised by all of the members of the golf club. On one of Rob's captains days, he had a half way house with pies and cake, tea coffee and booze and "hit the green double your money on the 19th green" raising an amazing £1600 in just one day.

Throughout the year they held two more charity days. One challenge was 'The Captain's Bunker' which charged players £1 if their ball went into that bunker. This raised over £300, including £100 from players challenging Rob and the club Pro for £10 each.

"We are still stunned by the amount that has been raised by the golf club. Thank you so much Rob, and to everybody that has supported him in order to help raise vital funds for our charity, said Donna Stevens. "We are more than grateful to you all."
