Research into finding ways of identifying and treating heart conditions with blood testing has been published in a leading medical journal.
The work, being carried out by a team at Royal Brompton hospital and led by Dr Sanjay Prasad, is being supported with funds from Elliot's Touch.
It is a great accolade having this work recognised in such a prestigious publication, and it now means that we can open up our findings and share data with other leading universities and hospitals across the world," said Dr Prasad.
Elliot's Touch donated £36,000 to The Royal Brompton Hospital in 2016, shortly after the charity was established.
"We are so excited to hear of the progress being made to develop simple, quick and cheap ways of identifying heart problems which may be helped if found and treated earlier", said Donna Stevens, co-founder of Elliot's Touch.
